The Adoption & Fostering Podcast annual conference 2021

The Adoption & Fostering Podcast annual online conference is back and we're delighted that we've been able to purchase a number of tickets for adoptive families living in our region! These will be available on a first come first served basis.

The conference will feature the usual serious discussion around a range of topics relevant to adoptive families, various speakers, opportunities to share experiences and plenty of fun and banter! They will be joined by two adopted adults – Shania Ives and David Benjamin – who will be sharing their own perspectives on Identity as well as their professional experiences. Julie Young from the University of East Anglia, will also be sharing and discussing research exploring the experience of adoptive families, children and birth families and Vicki McKeown will be looking at identity through the lens of EMDR and as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
